My New Morning Happy Place Happy Morning Smoothie- Solar & Sacral Chakra Healing

Hey ya'll, I hope you're easing yourselves into the New Year.

As you all might know I've been on the quest of bringing healing into my nutrition and day to day eating lifestyle. As one of my self loving discipline new rituals I am exploring smoothies for chakra healing. Smoothies are an easy way for me to ensure I'm getting my vitamins and minerals in a delicious way.

I've been doing a lot of work on my solar and sacral chakra at the start of the year so that's where my smoothie exploration has landed. The solar chakra is represented by the color yellow and where the energy involving our relationship with ourselves (self worth, self love, confidence, self esteem, etc.) is housed. The solar chakra is also directly connected to our digestive system and abdomen.

The sacral chakra is represented by the color orange and is responsible for housing our emotions and creativity. The sacral chakra is directly connected to our womb, our reproductive system, and when it's blocked it creates tension in the hips, glutes, and pelvic region.

When choosing foods to eat for your healing it's important to focus on what chakra are you seeking to heal. When you're cooking, preparing, and eating you have a different level of intention set to make your meals healing for your body for physical and spiritual healing.

I'm focusing more on exploring my relationship with myself and discovering new outlets for my creativity beyond movement, meditations, and crystal healings by tapping into healing through what I eat on a daily basis. Hence a new smoothie recipe that is helping me get my entire life in the mornings.

In the mornings I want something that wakes me up, is easy to put together, and enjoyable. Like most people, I lean towards smoothies because they are easy peasy. I did some digging of different smoothie recipes, chakra healing foods, and vitamins and properties I was seeking from a good smoothie.

Pineapples, mangoes, and bananas found their way to my list as my top fruits of choice. Pineapples and bananas are great for the solar chakra and mangoes are great for the sacral chakra. They are also rich in vitamins and minerals that are great for jump starting the digestive system and metabolism in the morning. I also added ginger root and cinnamon for immune support and a boost for the sacral chakra healing of the smoothie.

I'm a creature of habit so adding this smoothie to my morning routine has literally been my happy place. I prep the fruit so it is in the freezer ready to go in the morning. It's been a week so far and I am here for it! Sometimes, I will add two slices of whole wheat toast. This small edition may seem so simple, but for me it represents me intentionally taking care of and planning for myself. In the morning, I'm not just getting my boys together but now I feel as equally taken care of.

Below is the recipe I put together for my Happy Morning Smoothie. Enjoy and happy healing fam!
