Full Moon Rituals and Healing Practices: Movement, Meditation, Crystals, and Herbs

Hey hey y'all! We have a POWERFUL Full Moon tonight that is also an eclipse.

Don't worry this energy will be with us for the next two nights so don't feel pressured to do any work tonight if you're also feeling exhausted.

Tonight's Moon:

LET GO BIG

Doubts, fears, relationships, situations that you KNOW aren't serving you

That you KNOW has run its course.

Journal Prompts:

  1. What/Who do I need to release that I know has run its course?

  2. Is there anything I need to shift out of denial and into acceptance about?

  3. What does moving forward look like for me?

Full Moon Ritual

Here’s a simple but powerful Full Moon in Pisces and Lunar Eclipse ritual to help you align with the healing energy of your North Node and 3rd House placements.

Full Moon in Pisces and Lunar Eclipse Healing Ritual

What You’ll Need:

A quiet space where you won’t be disturbed

A journal or piece of paper

A pen

A small bowl of water (to represent Pisces, the water sign)

A candle (preferably white or blue for spiritual clarity and healing)

Crystals like amethyst, moonstone, or clear quartz (optional)

Sage or palo santo (for clearing energy)

Step 1: Prepare Your Space

Begin by cleansing your space using sage or palo santo. As you do this, set the intention to release any stagnant or negative energy, making space for healing and transformation.

Light the candle, symbolizing clarity and illumination of your spiritual journey.

Step 2: Ground and Center Yourself

Sit comfortably and take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes, and imagine your body being filled with a calming, healing light. With each breath, let yourself sink deeper into relaxation, connecting to the energy of the Full Moon.

Step 3: Connect with Water Energy

Place your hands over the bowl of water. Water represents emotions, healing, and intuition, aligning with the energy of Pisces.

As you hold the bowl, silently or out loud, set an intention for what you wish to release during this lunar eclipse. You might say something like: “I release all fears, doubts, and communication patterns that no longer serve me. I embrace my soul’s path and my true voice.”

Step 4: Journal or Reflect

With the energy of the Full Moon and eclipse, reflect on the following:

1. Where have I been holding back in expressing my truth?

2. What limiting stories or thought patterns need to be released?

3. How can I embrace more spiritual flow and trust in my healing journey?

Write down whatever thoughts, emotions, or insights come up for you.

Step 5: Release

Once you’ve written down what you need to release, fold the paper and, if it feels right, dip it into the water as a symbolic gesture of washing away what no longer serves you. You can keep the paper in water for the rest of the ritual or dispose of it later in a ceremonial way (burning it or tearing it up after it dries).

Step 6: Guided Meditation

Sit in silence or use a guided meditation, visualizing yourself stepping into your soul's purpose. Imagine a bright, gentle light illuminating your North Node and showing you the path forward in your healing and self-expression.

Step 7: Closing

To close the ritual, thank the moon, the eclipse energy, and yourself for the healing work you've done. Blow out the candle, symbolizing a fresh start, and dispose of the water in the earth (pour it into the soil) as a way of returning what you’ve released back to nature.

These practices and rituals can be used under any full moon as a foundation! Happy healing family <3
